An abstracted footprint of the Sunken Gardens Park in Denver's Lincoln Park neighborhood. The park's unique shape, unique 'sunken' green spaces, and unique history are largely unknown to most of Denver; Sunken Gardens isn't really a city park but a neighborhood park. Speer Boulevard and the Cherry Creek along its diagonal eastern edge, the Denver Health hospital campus to the south, West High School to its west, and a dangerous intersection at its northern tip help keep this park from reaching any delusions of past grandeur.
